The Auckland Grammar School Old Boys' Association invite you to attend the annual Augusta Awards and Dinner on Thursday 7 November at the South Stand at Eden Park. Tickets are $95 per person.
There are two awards given out - the Augusta Award and the newly established Lion Award. The Augusta Awards evolved from the Association's Old Boy of the Year Award and are given to Old Boys at the top of their respective industries or specialty or have demonstrated a remarkable contribution to the Arts, Business, Sport and/or Public Service.
We are proud to announce this year's nominees have been chosen. Congratulations to our Augusta awardees Alan Galbraith '57 QC, Dr Alastair MacCormick '57, Scott Milne '69 and Peter Thompson '76.
Established in 2018, the Lion Award seeks to acknowledge, in some way, younger Old Boys who, at an earlier stage of their careers, are demonstrating leadership and/or remarkable achievement for their age. Early achievement may include attaining a national sporting achievement, being a senior executive or director reaching partnership in a notable professional service firm at an unusually young age or, equally, being acknowledged in the Sciences and/or Technology, the Arts or Academia.
The inaugural winner of the Lion Award was international chef Anthony Hoy Fong '91, and we are proud to announce the 2019 Lion Award winner is Fady Mishriki '95.
Nominations can be made by filling out this form and posting it back to President of the AGSOBA, PO Box 37785, Parnell, Auckland or email it to president@grammaroldboys.com.
