About the US Friends of Auckland Grammar School Trust
The US Friends of Auckland Grammar School is a duly recognised corporation established exclusively for charitable or educational purposes within the meaning of section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The entity is registered to take donations in both the states of California and New York where the majority of Old Boys reside.
The trust also provides a means for connecting Grammar Old Boys across the USA helping keep them up to date with current School developments. Established in 2011, the US Friends host annual gatherings, which are in line with the Headmaster's international travel schedule. The directors of the US Friends of Auckland Grammar School also assist in raising funds for the Auckland Grammar School Foundation Trust.
The Foundation Trust's aims are to promote the advancement of education by charitable means through the Academic Endowment Fund (AEF), designed to help keep our best teachers in the classroom by allowing the Board of Trustees to recruit, retain and reward top teachers. Scott is a Partner and Managing Director of TAU Investment Management, a New York and Hong Kong-based thematic Private Equity investment platform with deep sector expertise in the global apparel and textile value chains. With a degree in Business Administration from Auckland University of Technology, Scott is based in the firm's New York offices overseeing deal origination.

Quentin is a Managing Principal of Vanbridge, responsible for origination. He is a senior finance specialist with expertise in both financial and insurance markets. Quentin joined Vanbridge with over 20 years of financial market experience. Prior to joining the firm, Quentin was the Head of Financial Risk Products at Marsh and McLennan. He also served as the Managing Director at Citibank, Hong Kong where he headed Citi's regional derivatives structuring and marketing business across 10 countries. While in Hong Kong, he was the inaugural Co-Chair for the International Swaps and Derivatives Association for Hong Kong and South East Asia. Prior to this, Quentin worked the Financial Engineering group at Citibank Australia. He has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Auckland and joined Price Waterhouse as an auditor. Quentin lives in San Francisco.

Shane is a Principal at Court Square Capital where he focuses on technology investments, a position he has held since 2016. Prior to Court Square, Shane worked at Francisco Partners and JMI Equity where he invested in software and technology-enabled services companies. Previously he held roles with Orion Health, Pioneer Capital, and Craigs Investment Partners. Shane received law and commerce degrees from the University of Auckland, before receiving a CFA in 2010.

DR RAJIV SHARMA '98

Rajiv is a Research Director at the Stanford University Global Projects Center, a multi-disciplinary research center within the School of Engineering. His current research is on the design and governance of innovative institutional investment models, for long-horizon projects. He is the author of Reframing Finance: New models of long-term investment management, a Stanford University Press published book that has been used by institutional investors around the world for their alternative investments strategy. He is currently an advisor to the US Department of the Treasury Office of Technical Assistance Government Debt and Infrastructure Finance team. He also worked as a Senior Product Manager at investment technology company, RCI, which was acquired by wealth management technology company, Addepar. Rajiv has a Bachelor of Engineering and Commerce degree with First Class Honours from the University of Auckland and a PhD in Economic Geography from the University of Oxford.

Cameron works with New Zealand and international clients on a range of strategic transactions, including acquisitions (M&A), joint ventures, restructurings, capital raising, IPO's and corporate governance. Cameron regularly advises leading private and listed companies, financial institutions and private equity firms. He has extensive experience in the New Zealand market, as well as in New York and London. He spent more than seven years with premier U.S. law firm Cravath, Swaine & Moore and worked for Credit Suisse. With an extensive international and domestic profile, Cameron is regularly invited to speak at international conferences on M&A and corporate finance. Cameron is currently Chair of the board of Athletics New Zealand Inc. He holds an MBA in Finance from London Business School, an Bachelor of Law (with Honours) from the University of Auckland, and a BA in Economics and BBA in Finance from S.M.U. in Texas. Cameron is an Officer of the International Bar Association.
