Through time, the School has worked to be true to its founding vision while almost single-mindedly protecting the provision of a high quality education.Essential to this are the relationships we forge with students, Old Boys, parents and friends of the School. These relationships are critical to the future education of Auckland Grammar School students and our staff.
After looking for new ways to engage with the community and after considerable discussion with existing support groups, the School is pleased to formalise the introduction of a new group, simply called The Grammar Community, in the hope that members of the wider School community will join to retain an affiliation with the School.
The Grammar Community is free to join for anyone with an affiliation with the School, with an interest in receiving Grammar news and the opportunity to attend events. The Grammar Community will work with and alongside the Auckland Grammar School Old Boys' Association, which, as an organisation, is highly supportive of current students, Old Boys and the School. It is being established so that all members of the wider community have the opportunity to engage with the School on an ongoing basis.
Whether you are a past parent whose sons have long since graduated, you are a supporter, a donor, a volunteer or an Old Boy, you are welcome to become a part of this group. The first newsletter of The Grammar Community will be sent out in early August and an inaugural event will be held later this year.
We are grateful for the incredible support the School continues to receive and look forward to engaging with you in new ways as a member of The Grammar Community.
